All About Us

384 EAST is a Rock Cover Band based out of Manchester, CT.
We play rock hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today from Aerosmith to ZZ Top!
The emphasis is placed firmly on material that gets the crowd singing along and out on the dance floor!  We are often complimented on our diverse play list,
"You have a great set list, there's something in it for everyone!"

Formed in October of 2002, we spent most of 2003 and 2004 playing private functions and bar gigs, including the Annual Pig Roast at Sneakers Sports Bar & Grill in Storrs, CT and Hawk's Landing Country Club in Southington, CT,  where we helped to bring in the club's "Biggest Friday night crowd to date!"  We also enjoyed an amazing night at The 36th Annual Apple Harvest Festival in Southington, CT.   We even participated in a Public Television performance for Eastern Connecticut State University.  The performance was taped and edited by some of their media students as part of their class requirements and aired live
on the university's radio station. 

2005 was great!  We rocked Marlborough Tavern's Annual Pig Roast despite the rain and played two great shows again at  Hawk's Landing Country Club.
We even had an outstanding show at the annual East Lyme Festival in Niantic.  The crowd really got into the music and had a great time.  The sound was excellent!  A big thank you goes out to the sound man, Brian Infantino of Oceansound. (click for his website)

2006 was a banner year for us, that included some new venues!  The "NO EXIT" Summer Tour  went very well.  We had two more great nights at Hawk's Landing, were we helped to make some money for Assistance Dogs Unlimited, Inc. and another amazing evening at the East Lyme Festival.  (Thanks again Brian!)  We also helped raise $2,200 for the CT Children's Medical Center at a benefit hosted by our friends from "Scissor Runners".  We finished up the year with three fun-filled nights at the Southington Apple Harvest Festival, Grumpy's Pub in Plainville, and the Cedarwood Lounge in North Windham.

Wow!  Time flies as 2007 is almost over!  Some highlights of the year included, The “D-Tour" Summer Tour, which had us playing at the Hall of Fame Billiards in Ellington, and an outstanding show for the CT Valley Hospital residents in Middletown as we helped kickoff their summer concert series.  July had us back at Niantic and Hawk's Landing for the third year in a row!  In September we were part of the Second Annual CT Children's Medical Center Benefit, hosted by our friends from "Scissor Runners."  October found us back at The Southington Apple Harvest Festival, and Grumpy's Pub & Grub.  November brought us a date at a new venue, Ultimate Billiards in Berlin and we even went to Trod-Nossel recording studios in Wallingford to record 5 new demo songs.  We finished off the year with a smoking show at Gilo's in East Hartford!  they can't wait for us to come back.

Hello 2008!  We have been busy so far this year!  We kicked off the New Year at Fat Cats in Colchester and re-visited the Free Spirit.   Also,  we had a great hometown gig in Manchester  at The Hungry Tiger on Feb 28th!  Thanks to those faithful fans for coming out and partying on a "school night!"  April will find us back at Grumpy's as a warm-up to a busy spring with dates at Free Spirit, Fat Cats, and Gilo's.  Stay tuned as more dates will be added soon!
